There are amazing and unique lands that do not meet the test of additionality required for a certifiable carbon offset project. These conservation lands may have some (or all) of the following attributes:
- primary rainforest with untold number of species (known and unknown)
- support indigenous communities
- protect critical habitat and headwaters
- provide livelihood for local populations
- sequester large amounts of CO2 out of the atmosphere
In conjunction with our partners, Project RAFA, and Wild Sense, we offer an accreditation methodology that supports, validates, and creates accountable bio-diversity projects. We use the United Nation bio-diversity protocols, currently in development and launching Q1 2024, for all of our internationally certified projects. These projects offer verified bio-diversity credits, based on a sound and proven methodology, for individuals, for-profit corporations, and non-profit organizations.
We do not offer access to a bio-diversity credit exchange. Rather, we partner each one with a capital sponsor partner best suited and aligned to the specific attributes of the project. Each of our projects is intensely intimate and unique. We find a project sponsor prior to developing a project.
